Babies and Babies!!!

When I started this journey I was fortunate enough to have three of my good friends pregnant along for the ride with me! It has been wonderful support system and we've all enjoyed relating to one another over the past several months. Seeing they have been apart of this blog I thought I would update you on the new arrivals. Megan & Ryan welcomed Carter Thomas Foxworthy on June 13th, 8 lbs 10oz and 21.5in long. I was lucky enough to visit and meet the little peanut this past Thursday. Mom & baby are doing great - he is a very happy, healthy baby and sounds like a great sleeper thus far. Our good friends the Barretts welcomed their newest addition today. William Gaston was born at 1:23, 4 lbs 2 oz 17.5 in long - what an amazing Father's Day gift and thankfully everyone is okay. I truly feel so blessed with this pregnancy and am anxiously awaiting for Anna's arrival - AND I am sure she can't wait to meet her two new little friends:)

Weekend

We had a fun, filled pact weekend - pool days, Jersey Boys, Lobster boil and family time. Here is the weekend through pictures.
We had a pool day on Friday with my girlfriends. Grace came in town Thursday night. Grace & Brayden (my friend Cassandra's son)who are two weeks apart in age, had too much fun running around together:)

Grace loved the water

Jersey Boys
Friday night, Mark & Elizabeth drove in town so the six of us went to dinner at Creation Cafe on the canal then off to see the show Jersey Boys. It was an amazing performance and definitely a must see.

Art Fair
Saturday we bared the heat and humidity to attend the Talbott Street Art fair - at least we had lemonade to cool us off.

Lobster Boil
Saturday night we joined our neighbors for the 4th annual progressive dinner. This year our theme was "A night in the Hamptons" and we had a lobster boil. The lobsters were flown in from the east coast - they were huge! We had a fantastic night and feel so fortunate to have such amazing, fun neighbors.

Molly's baby shower

Funny how much life has changed from last year - last Summer was filled with weddings and this year it's baby showers. Oh, how we grow up. Here are a few pics from Molly's baby shower.

24 Weeks

Yesterday I met with Dr. Meltzer for my 24 week appointment. Surprisingly I am measuring 25 -26 weeks! I was shocked, especially since I thought I was 1-2 weeks behind schedule. According to the book "What to Expect", this week Anna is the size of an eggplant- approximately 1.7 lbs and 9 in long. Also, my booked stated I should look like I am carrying a soccer ball as well as a kicker inside. I voiced my concerns to the MD about having a much smaller (or lack there of) baby bump and not feeling the baby move very often. Just to reassure me, he has planned a 28 week ultrasound to check measurement as well as my amniotic fluid. It will be a busy appointment next month - at 28 weeks I will also have my glucose test and RhoGam shot (yikes!).

Memorial Day Weekend

Greg & I ended up having a wonderful memorial day weekend spending time with family, friends and eachother:) Greg & the boys had way too much fun attending the Indy 500 while the preggo girls decided to have a get-a-way to the lake. It was a relaxing time where we were spoiled with yummy breakfasts (thanks to Mama Cass) and boat rides and a delicious tenderloin dinner (thanks to Denny Barrett). We ended the weekend having a cookout/pool day at Mom & Dad's - a perfect family day!
